About Our Sixth Grade Team

The sixth grade team focuses on developing students and their skills for the demands of middle school. We work on school success skills like responsibility, punctuality, independence, and congeniality. We teach both sixth and seventh grade math, and many of our students go on to take Algebra One Honors in their first year of middle school. Our science curriculum covers weather, chemistry, and atomic theory. Our social studies curriculum covers the history of the Americas up to the American Civil War. Our students finish their final year at Navy well prepared for the academic, social, and emotional requirements of seventh grade.
