What really goes into our daily live news show? Here at Navy we have a news studio that puts on a live news show for our whole school every single day. We could not run it without our dedicated news crew that is comprised of around thirty, 6th grade students.

In 2023 we launched a new Facebook and Instagram account for Navy Elementary. There are so many wonderful things happening at Navy and we wanted to share it with our community. At Navy, the spirit of gratitude and appreciation filled the air as the school hosted its time-honored tradition of a Veterans Day Celebration. This annual event, organized by Maryn Simon, dedicated teachers and enthusiastic PTO volunteers, is a cherished occasion that brings the community together to express gratitude to those who both have served and are serving our country. Mrs. Simon originally started Veterans Day celebrations in her classroom, before it became tradition at Navy, nearly 15 years ago.

Last week was an absolute blast for our 4th graders at Navy Elementary, as they embarked on two fun-filled events that not only enriched their learning but also left lasting memories. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the amazing 4th-grade team, especially Mrs. Maryn Simon, for putting together these fantastic experiences for our children.

In Mrs. Norden's kindergarten class, a sense of excitement filled the air as students finally got the chance to bring back a beloved tradition: the Pumpkin Investigation. This long-awaited event was made possible with the help of parent volunteers, and it turned out to be an exciting and collaborative opportunity for the young learners.
